You may visit our websites without disclosing who you are. Thus, you will remain anonymous. In order to display our webpages when accessing them, you are only required to provide the data (see “log files”) sent from your browser to our server. Additional personal data from you are stored only if you voluntarily enter them on the website or use corresponding features, for example, when registering for our newsletter or ordering information material.
To contact us, you have to fill the fields marked as mandatory fields on our site. These data are only used and stored with your consent for the purposes of processing your message (Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR). Entering additional personal data should be helpful to process your request but it is voluntary. These data are not used for other purposes nor passed on to third parties unless you expressly agree to this (consent).
Online opinion polls
If you participate in an online opinion poll on the website, no personal information will be collected. The opinion poll is conducted anonymously; a conclusion on your person ist not possible.
If you like our website, we would appreciate your recommendation. For this purpose, you can use the so-called social bookmarks under “Recommend”. By clicking on a social bookmark button, a new window will open in which we inform you that you will be forwarded to another website by once again clicking on the social bookmark button and your personal data such as your IP address, referrer, timestamp and browser software will be transferred to the referred operator of the social bookmark service. By clicking the button again, you expressly agree to the transmission of these data for the purpose of placing a social bookmark (Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR). We point out that we have no influence on how the respective operator of the social bookmark service handles the data after they have been transferred, as this lies beyond our sphere of responsibility. For more information on the data processing of the social bookmark service, see the data protection notice of the respective provider.
Transient cookies are deleted automatically as soon as you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies, which save a so-called session ID that can associate the various requests from your browser during the session. This allows for your computer to be recognised whenever you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted as soon as you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies are deleted automatically after a specified period, which can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in your browser’s security settings at any time.
These data are used to optimise our services and make your visits to our sites more user-friendly. In some cases, cookies are also used to specifically provide you with information about our products on other websites. To do this, we also work with external service providers that are authorised to use information from the cookies exclusively for these purposes. The legal basis for the processing of these data is Article 6 (1) sentence 1. lit. f) GDPR.
In general, the data from cookies is not used for any other purposes, unless the additional use is described in this data protection declaration.
Cookies are absolutely harmless for your PC and cannot run any programmes or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make internet offers more user-friendly and effective.
You can change the settings in your internet browser so that you are informed whenever a web server wants to send a cookie to your computer. You will then be able to accept or reject cookies. You can configure your browser setting according to your wishes and refuse third-party cookies or even all cookies. We would like to point out that, in doing so, you may not be able to use all the features of this website. Refer to the help page of your internet browser for more information.
Whenever you access our site, we collect the following information about your computer: Your computer’s IP address, the browser request and the time of this request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred within the scope of this request are recorded as well as the product information and version of the browser and operating system on your computer. We also record from which website our site is accessed. Your computer’s IP address is stored only for the time you use the website and deleted immediately thereafter or anonymised by deleting the last digits. The remaining data are stored for a limited period of time. We use this information to operate our website, in particular, to determine and eliminate errors on the website and to determine the use of the website and make adjustments or improvements (legal basis: Article 6 (1) sentence 1. lit. f) GDPR).
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIP()”. This truncates the IP address before further processing in order to rule out direct associations to persons. This website uses the Google Analytics reports on demographics in which data from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third party providers are used (such as approximate age, gender and interests). These data cannot be traced back to a specific person and can be deactivated at any time through the ad settings https://www.google.co.uk/settings/ads.
We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. Using the statistics obtained, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. In exceptional cases in which personal data are transmitted to the United States, Google is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Article 6 (1) sentence 1, lit. f) GDPR.

When exercising such a right to appeal, we ask for an explanation of the reasons why your personal data should not be processed. In the case of your justified opposition, we will assess the situation and either cease or adjust the data processing or present to you our compelling legitimate grounds for the continued processing of your data.
